A piece of a building fell on a car. The building was constructed in 1902!

A piece of plaster fell off the facade of a building in Bucharest and landed on a car parked next to the building.

Police were informed on Friday, around 3:00 a.m., through the emergency service 112, about a loud noise coming from Sector 1 of the Capital.

The incident took place on Poiana Narciselor Street, near Cișmigiu Park, according to the sector municipality.

A woman called 112, and the police who went to the scene found that a piece of plaster had fallen off the facade of a building and landed on a parked car, causing damage.

No one was injured, the police reported.

The investigation is being carried out by the officers of Police Section 3, "under the aspect of committing the offense of negligence destruction, with the competent prosecutor's office to be notified".

The building, built in 1902, has 17 apartments and is classified in seismic risk class I. It is included in the records of the Municipal Administration for the Consolidation of Buildings with Seismic Risk (AMCCRS), an institution of the Capital City Hall responsible for the consolidation works, as specified by the municipality.
