Ianis Hagi’s agent talked about the delicate situation the Romanian international is going through at Alaves during this period.
The son of the legendary Gheorghe Hagi is currently on loan from Glasgow Rangers to Alaves in Spain, but will return to Scotland, at least initially. The Romanian has not impressed in the Primera Division and has not played many games as a starter.
Recently, rumors have also surfaced in the Turkish press that Hagi will be transferred from Galatasaray in the summer, but nothing has been officially confirmed so far. The player's agent, Victor Becali, stated that Hagi will return to the Scottish Premiership: "Ianis's situation is somewhat clear: he is returning to his team. He is on loan, he is returning to his team. There might be some truth to the offer from Turkey, I have no idea, but there hasn't been a year without rumors about Ianis at Galatasaray," said Victor Becali, according to Sport.ro.
Information has also emerged in the Scottish press that Hagi will be sold by Rangers at the end of this season. Ianis currently has a market value of 2.5 million euros, having played 99 games, scored 16 goals, and provided 21 assists in his career at Rangers. At Alaves, he has only made 22 appearances, scoring two goals.
