Romanian President Nicușor Dan has sent a Christmas message emphasizing the significance of the Birth of the Lord for believers and the entire community.
In his message, the leader from the Cotroceni Palace recalled that „The Birth of Christ is for us, Christians, the celebration of hope, light, and the truth of faith. Wherever we are, Christmas reminds us of home, the magic of childhood, and brings us closer to the essence of the values that give meaning to our lives.”
The President highlighted the importance of moments spent with family and the bonds with loved ones, which, in the daily hustle and bustle, we sometimes appreciate less than we should. "The moments spent with family and the joy of having loved ones close are the most precious gifts," Nicușor Dan stated.
The head of state also made a call for unity and reflection for the community, inviting to "rediscover inner peace, the power to be better, wiser, and more understanding so that, together, we regain the strength of a nation aware of its identity and determined to build its future with confidence."
In conclusion, the President extended holiday wishes to all Romanians: "I wish you all a blessed Christmas!"
