Friday night, a cyber attack targeted the service provider for check-in and boarding systems, affecting multiple European airports, including Brussels Airport.
As a result, currently check-in and boarding can only be done manually, as announced by the official Brussels Airport.
The affected provider is working intensively to address the issue and is trying to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
This incident has a significant impact on flight schedules, causing delays and cancellations.
Passengers with flights scheduled for Saturday, September 20, are advised to check the flight status with the airline before heading to the airport and to come only if their flight is confirmed.
For confirmed flights, passengers are recommended to arrive at least 2 hours before for flights within the Schengen Area and 3 hours before for external flights.
The airport recommends following official channels for updates.
