President Nicușor Dan stated on Wednesday about the situation in Poland, where several Russian drones have entered the country’s national airspace, that we have not had incidents of this kind, but we had an accidental one, a few hundred meters from the border.
The President assured that if it happens, the procedures are ready to react in the same way, and people should not be worried.

"We have not had incidents of this kind, meaning what we had was accidental, a few hundred meters from the border. If it happens, the procedures are ready to react in the same way, but people should not be worried," said Nicușor Dan after attending a meeting with foreign investors.
The head of state was asked what reaction Romania could have in the case of drones entering our country's territory and if we are prepared.
"Following the law passed by Parliament, if I'm not mistaken, in March, and the subsequent procedures in the Supreme Council for National Defense (CSAT), the procedures are ready," emphasized the President.
The head of state was also asked if the alert level in Romania has been raised after last night's incident when our country launched two Romanian Air Force F-16 fighter aircraft following the massive drone attack from Ukraine.
"No. What I want to tell you is that Romania is prepared, and people should not be worried," replied President Nicușor Dan.
