Simona Halep has appointed a new coach

Simona Halep makes a last-minute decision regarding her career and changes her coach once again, this time to an emblematic figure, a tennis person who has been close to her in major successes in her life.

At 32 years old, Halep, former WTA world No. 1, is still recovering from the long knee injury that has prevented her from competing in recent months. Now, the former champion of Roland Garros and Wimbledon is intensively preparing for her comeback on the court.

After returning to tennis following her suspension, post-TAS decision, Halep was briefly coached by the Spaniard Carlos Martinez. After ending the collaboration with the Spaniard, Simona Halep returned to work with Daniel Dobre, the man with whom she won Wimbledon in 2019, as announced by ProTV and Sport.ro.
