Metz has decided the fate of coach Ladislau Boloni (71 years old) after the team was relegated to Ligue 2, the second division of the French championship.
Metz lost the promotion/relegation playoff to Ligue 1, 3-4 against Saint-Etienne over two legs, and next season will play in the French second division.
As a result, the French press reports that Ladislau Boloni is set to be dismissed from the helm of the team. According to Ouest-France, Metz's officials have already made the decision, and the official announcement of the separation will happen in the coming days.
