Ianis Hagi has set his future

Ianis Hagi (25 years old) made an announcement about his future at the end of the Romania – Lithuania 3-1 match, from the Nations League.

Sent to Rangers’ second team and put on hold in hopes of leaving, Ianis Hagi is not willing to give up easily on the fight for a starting spot at Ibrox Park’s team.

Hagi Junior wishes to stay abroad, at Rangers, and has asked for trust from the coach because "I have not disappointed anyone who trusted me."

The Romanian international thanked Rapid and FCSB, clubs from the Superliga that were interested in his transfer, but told them "no."

"I am a Rangers player. I love the club. There has been a lot of talk about me. I have said it in two very clear messages on Instagram. I just want to play football. In my short football history, I have not disappointed anyone who trusted me. These are facts, just like Uncle Mircea trusted me."

"I have been in constant communication with him, I did physical training with the second team, even harder than with the first team. I have never disappointed a person who trusted me. I thanked those in the country who were interested in me, I wish them good luck, but my fight is outside," stated Ianis Hagi, quoted by Digi Sport.
