Edi Iordănescu (45 years old) has agreed to continue with the Romanian national team even after EURO 2024.
Through the voice of Răzvan Burleanu, the president, the FRF announced on Thursday the agreement with Edi Iordănescu to extend the contract expiring after EURO 2024.
Therefore, Iordănescu will remain the coach of the Romanian national team regardless of the result the team will achieve at the European Championship in Germany.

"We have reached a verbal agreement with Edi Iordănescu to continue even after the European Championship. I hope we will sign the commitment before the start of the European Championship," said Răzvan Burleanu, according to Digi Sport.
