Romania defeated Turkey, Saturday, with a score of 9-0, in the first match of Group D at the European Minifootball Championship.
The reigning world champion, Romania, did not give Turkey any chance in the first group match, which they started strongly.
Mircea Ungur (4), Cătălin Tineiu (9, 25), Vlad Mocanu (23), Iulian Sîplăcan (26), Raul Dumitrovici (36, 45), Alexandru Nechita (48), and Mircea Popa (49) scored the goals for the Romanian national team.
After the match with Turkey, Romania will face Poland on June 2, at 21:45, and Hungary on June 3, at 21:45.
Romania has won the final tournament five times between 2011 and 2015.
