A TikTok phenomenon has caused hysteria. Lidl and Heidi appeal to customers not to destroy Easter eggs and bunnies

A TikTok phenomenon has created hysteria in Romania. More specifically, several people have filmed themselves breaking chocolate eggs and bunnies in stores.

They claim that there is money inside the Easter figurines, and their messages posted on the social network have led other store customers to break the respective products in search of 50 or 100 euro bills.

Lidl Romania and Heidi Chocolate have reacted, reassuring that there is no money inside the products, only chocolate.

"Do not break the chocolate bunnies anymore, as inside there is indeed the chocolate itself," is the message conveyed by Lidl.

Heidi also posted a message on Facebook, asking people not to destroy the figurines, thus spoiling the joy of those who want to buy them.

"Dear ones,

We also echo the request of our colleagues from Lidl Romania. We have seen the TikTok videos referring to the existence of money in Easter figurines. But we assure you that HEIDI themed products contain only the craftsmanship of HEIDI chocolatiers, who decorate these products manually, egg by egg, bunny by bunny.

There is nothing inside. Let's not spoil the joy of people who will take them home for Easter dinner," transmitted Heidi Chocolate.

Dragii noștri,Reluăm și noi rugămintea colegilor de la Lidl Romania. Am văzut la rândul nostru clipurile de pe Tik...
