The strategy of PSD and PNL is for the two parties to govern together for the next 10 years, says PSD MEP Mihai Tudose, who is likely to lead the joint list for the European Parliament elections of the ruling coalition.
Asked on Friday evening on Digi 24 if there is a risk that the current ruling coalition will break up after this year’s local and European Parliament elections, Mihai Tudose said: „There’s nothing certain, but that’s the strategy, for us to govern also in the next 10 years.”
At the same time, asked about the electoral score that PSD and PNL have set for the European Parliament elections, the MEP only said: "First place with as many mandates as possible."
Regarding the candidacies for the presidential elections, Tudose stated that this subject will be discussed after the elections on June 9.
Tudose also mentioned that there is no "war" in the political class, but rather what happens are elements related to the electoral campaign.
"I don't see any war in the political class, it's campaigning, normal things when each party presents its strategy and campaign plan. We also have a bit of a circus, two parties that are specialists in noise and lights, but that's not a war, they just make fools of themselves," Mihai Tudose added.
