The Tate brothers announce that they are returning to Romania with a private plane: "Innocent men do not run away"

Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate have announced their return to Romania from the United States of America on a private plane, scheduled to land in Bucharest on Friday night to Saturday, around 3:00 AM.

„In short: a private plane will soon fly from Fort Lauderdale Airport (USA) to Bucharest. The Tates, who left Romania a few weeks ago on a private plane that took off from Bucharest to Fort Lauderdale (USA), are expected to return to the country this month. Therefore, it is not excluded that they will return from the American state of Florida to the capital of Romania on this private flight,” writes the BoardingPass publication.

"Update: Andrew Tate confirmed on Twitter, more than an hour after the BoardingPass post, that he is returning to the country with his brother. The plane they are flying on is a Gulfstream G650ER operated by Qatar Executive and will land in Bucharest on Saturday, March 22, around 3:00 AM, after 12 hours of flight," specified the mentioned publication.

Andrew Tate announced on platform X that he is returning to Romania with his brother. "Spending $185,000 on a private plane across the Atlantic to sign a single piece of paper in Romania. Innocent men do not run. They clear their names in court," he wrote.

Left for the USA with the Prosecutor's Approval

On February 27, the Tate brothers left Romania for the USA, having the approval of the prosecuting attorney from DIICOT who is investigating them in the rape case.

The parties agreed at that time for the Tate brothers to return to Romania, being under judicial control.

Andrew and Tristan Tate, with dual British and American citizenship, were indicted by DIICOT on June 20, 2023, on charges of forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking, rape, illegal access to computer systems, assault or other violence.

Later, in December 2024, the courts annulled the prosecutors' indictment, and the case was returned to DIICOT for the re-establishment of the criminal prosecution.

According to the Financial Times, Richard Grenell, an envoy of US President Donald Trump, reportedly asked Romanian authorities in mid-February, during a meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu, to hand over the passports of Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan. Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu assured that the United States "has not made any request" regarding the "legal situation" of the Tate brothers.

Andrew Tate is a well-known influencer with over 10 million followers on platform X, where he promotes men's rights through homophobic and racist messages. A declared fan of Donald Trump and a former professional kickboxer, born in the USA and living in Romania for several years, Andrew Tate became known during the "Big Brother UK" show in 2016.
