The Turkish press announces an important transfer regarding Denis Drăguș (24 years old) on Friday.
The Romanian international, possibly the most in-form Romanian footballer at the moment alongside Dennis Man, is close to a transfer to Trabzonspor from Standard Liege.
The Turks at Takvim claim that Trabzonspor and Drăguș have a preliminary agreement regarding the contract that the Romanian is set to sign. However, the two clubs have not yet reached an agreement on the transfer fee, after Standard Liege rejected Trabzonspor's initial offer for Drăguș.
The winger will intervene with the leaders of Standard Liege, with whom he is under contract until the summer of 2025, to facilitate his transfer to Trabzonspor, as mentioned by the cited source.
Denis Drăguş impressed in Turkey at Gaziantep FK, where he scored 12 goals and provided an assist in all competitions with the former team of Marius Şumudică, the coach who brought him to the Turkish league.
He is valued at 3 million euros by Transfermarkt.
