Costel Gâlcă, the last coach with whom FCSB won the title, is wanted by Universitate Craiova to replace Ivaylo Petev.
The coach was asked if he is interested in taking over the Oltenian team, and Gâlcă said „yes.”
However, for the moment, the coach mentioned that he has not discussed anything with Mihai Rotaru, the owner of Universitate Craiova.
"I haven't spoken to anyone. I don't know what interest Universitate Craiova could have. It is a big club in Romania. I have seen that I am already placed on the team's list, but, I repeat, I have not had any dialogue with anyone.
I have said that I am always considering returning to Romania. I would come, yes (note: laughs)! That's my job, as a coach, I have to do my work somewhere. That's my job, as a coach, so I would consider this option, and any other project. But I cannot say more now as long as I have not been contacted by anyone," stated Costel Gâlcă, according to gsp.ro.
Constantin Gâlcă last coached in Poland, at Radomiak Radom.
