CFR Cluj has transferred Lindon Emerllahu (23 years old) to Ukraine, to Polissya Zhytomyr, and the Kosovars accuse the club from Gruia.
CFR Cluj and Polissya have agreed on Emerllahu’s transfer, for the sum of 1.5 million euros, and the Kosovar has ultimately accepted the move to Ukraine.
The Kosovars claim that Emerllahu was forced by CFR Cluj to accept the transfer to Ukraine, even though he wanted something else.
"CFR Cluj forced Lindon Emerllahu to accept Polissya Zhytomyr's offer! He would have preferred a stronger, safer league, but the club's owner conveyed that he would lose his starting position and a 100,000 euro bonus if he didn't accept, so the player was forced to pack his bags.
Lindon had been informed of Werder Bremen's interest, and he preferred a move to the Bundesliga, but the Germans were not concrete. CFR Cluj couldn't afford for the deal with the Ukrainians to fall through," Kosovo Football claims.
Lindon Emerllahu will have a salary of 500,000 euros in Ukraine.
He was also wanted by FCSB in the last few weeks.
