The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has decided that Andrew Tate will not face criminal charges in the UK for the accusations made by four women, who accuse him of sexual violence and abusive behavior.
Prosecutors announced on Monday that the analyzed evidence does not meet the legal requirements for opening a criminal case, but the civil process filed in the High Court in London remains ongoing.
The women accuse the self-proclaimed misogynistic influencer of sexual violence, including allegations that he choked one of them multiple times in 2015, whipped her with a belt, and pointed a gun at her face.
### „Insufficient Evidence”
Tate’s lawyers stated in a previous hearing that the influencer „completely denies the accusations.”
„We have conducted a new analysis of the case regarding the allegations of assault and rape between 2013 and 2015,” a CPS spokesperson said. „After a careful analysis of the evidence provided by the Hertfordshire police, we have concluded that the legal conditions for criminal prosecution are not met and that no further action should be taken,” the prosecutors’ service announced.
„We have informed all parties about our decision and offered to meet with the complainants to explain our reasoning in more detail,” CPS stated.

Tate’s UK lawyer, Andrew Ford, welcomed the decision. „Despite external pressures, the evidence speaks for itself in this case, and the Crown Prosecution Service rightfully confirmed that the evidence is insufficient to provide a realistic perspective for a conviction. The reason why CPS made this decision will become evident when the evidence is presented in the civil proceedings. We are pleased that this is yet another example of a potential criminal case against Andrew Tate being dropped,” the lawyer conveyed.
### Accusations of rape, bodily harm, human trafficking, and prostitution
The women filed a civil lawsuit against Tate in the High Court after the Crown Prosecution Service initially decided not to prosecute him in 2019. Three of them reported Tate to the Hertfordshire police, whose investigation was closed the same year.
The 38-year-old Tate denied the accusations, which include sexual violence, coercive control, assault, and bodily harm, describing them as „a series of lies” and „gross fabrications.”

Separately, CPS announced in May that it had authorized 21 charges against Tate and his 37-year-old brother, Tristan Tate, after receiving a file of evidence from the Bedfordshire police.
Andrew Tate faces 10 charges related to three alleged victims, including rape, bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for profit. Tristan Tate faces 11 charges related to an alleged victim, including rape, bodily harm, and human trafficking.
Bedfordshire police obtained a European arrest warrant for the two men in 2024, but it was agreed that extradition would wait until the separate proceedings in Romania are completed.
