More than a third of Romanians totally disagree with the activity of President Nicușor Dan, while less than 30% declare themselves totally in agreement, according to the INSCOP Research Barometer, conducted between June 20-26.
However, taking into account respondents who declare themselves „somewhat” in agreement or „somewhat” in disagreement with the president’s activity, the result is a score of 53.2% – 41.8% in favor of those who appreciate his actions.
29.7% of Romanians totally agree with the activity carried out by Nicușor Dan as the President of Romania, 23.5% somewhat agree, resulting in a total positive of 53.2%.

On the other hand, 5.9% somewhat disagree, while 35.9% totally disagree, resulting in a total negative of 41.8%.
5% of the total sample do not know or did not respond to this question.
"The results show that the activity of Nicușor Dan as president is supported by 53.2% of respondents, with much greater support among USR voters (87.8%) and PNL (80.0%) and PSD (66%), but very low among AUR voters (23.2%),"
Education level significantly influences perception: individuals with higher education indicate an approval level of the president's activity at 76.8%, while those with primary education at only 36.3%. Residents of large urban areas and Bucharest are more favorable (65-68%), unlike those in rural areas (45.8%).
The data show that the main challenge for President Nicușor Dan's mandate is to expand support from the urban-educated electorate towards the more conservative rural segments with lower incomes and, evidently, more vulnerable," states Remus Ștefureac, director of INSCOP Research.

The data was collected between June 20-26, 2025, through interviews using a questionnaire.
The data was collected using the CATI method (telephone interviews), with a sample volume of 1150 individuals, stratified and representative of significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, occupation) for the non-institutionalized population of Romania, aged 18 and above.
The maximum admitted data error is ± 2.9%, with a confidence level of 95%.
