The Ministry of Defense announces that the Russian Federation has resumed drone attacks on targets in Ukraine, near the border with Romania.
For this reason, on Tuesday night to Wednesday, two F-16 aircraft took off from the 86th Borcea Air Base to monitor the aerial situation.
Prior to this, the Tulcea Emergency Inspectorate announced that a new RO-Alert message was issued to residents in the border area with Ukraine regarding the possibility of objects falling from the airspace.
"The Russian Federation resumed drone attacks on civilian and port infrastructure targets in Ukraine on the night of July 1, near the border with Romania.
The National Military Command Center (core) notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the implementation of population alert measures in Tulcea County, with RO-Alert messages being transmitted," the Ministry of Defense announced Wednesday morning.

The cited source specifies that starting at 11:15 PM, two Romanian Air Force F-16 aircraft took off from the 86th Borcea Air Base to monitor the aerial situation.
The MoD has been and continues to inform allied structures in real-time about the situations resulting from the attacks, remaining in constant contact with them.
"The Ministry of National Defense strongly condemns these attacks carried out by the Russian Federation against Ukrainian civilian targets and infrastructure elements, which are unjustified and in serious contradiction with international law norms," the ministry further transmitted.
