The Iranian regime is going through an unprecedented wave of arrests, fueled by a deep fear of Mossad infiltration.
According to CNN, dozens of people have been arrested for alleged espionage in favor of Israel, and authorities are issuing bizarre warnings to the population, asking them to report „unusual sounds in homes” and people wearing „night vision sunglasses.”
Following Israeli attacks, 28 people were arrested in Tehran, and a man previously convicted of espionage was executed on Monday.
Other dozens of citizens, especially from Isfahan, are accused of distributing pro-Israeli content online and "have affected the psychological security of society."
Fear of Mossad turned into official terror
Iranian security services have issued detailed instructions on how to identify "suspects": citizens with bulky luggage, filming near sensitive targets, receiving frequent packages, or wearing "sunglasses and hats," even after dark.
A poster distributed by Nour News urges citizens to be alert to "screams and metallic noises" from neighbors' homes.
The Iranian police are asking owners who have recently rented out their homes to inform the authorities. Meanwhile, journalists are no longer allowed to take photos in public spaces.
Night patrols of the Basij militia, a paramilitary structure used in the past to suppress protests, have been deployed on the streets.
The regime resorts to video calls and threats
The chief of the Iranian police, Ahmad-Reza Radan, issued a video call asking "traitors" to surrender, promising them a milder treatment.
At the same time, the judiciary leader, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i, demanded quick trials for collaborators and appropriate punishments, evoking a state of war.
According to CNN, Israel has released images of Mossad agents smuggling weapons into Iran before the attacks. These would have included explosive drones used to destroy missile launchers and air defense systems, paving the way for over 200 airstrikes.
Information obtained by Mossad allegedly allowed the identification of Iranian commanders and scientists.
Iranian media claims that authorities have seized equipment used by Mossad, including 200 kg of explosives, kamikaze drones, and manufacturing components, in a building in Rey city.
Fars Agency has published images of the confiscated parts, presented as evidence of Israeli infiltration.
