Ștefan Târnovanu (24 years old), the goalkeeper of FCSB, faces competition for a transfer to Galatasaray.
The Turks from Galatasaray have sent scouts to the National Arena to watch Târnovanu in action during the FCSB – Lyon 1-3 match, but the Romanian is not the only goalkeeper on their list.
According to fichajes.net, Galatasaray has set its sights on Inaki Pena (26 years old), the goalkeeper who has played minutes as a starter for Barcelona this season after Marc-Andre ter Stegen's injury. Pena was previously at Galatasaray in 2022 and played while Fernando Muslera was injured, the one the Turks are now seeking a replacement for.
In addition to Inaki Pena and Târnovanu, Galatasaray also has Berke Ozer (Eyupspor) and Konstantinos Tzolakis (Olympiakos) on their transfer list.
Ştefan Târnovanu was wanted by the Italians at Udinese, but the offer of four million euros made for the transfer was rejected.
He has a 10 million euro release clause in his contract with FCSB.
