Few Teachers with Top Grades

Only 5,687 teachers (72.58%) out of the total passed the exam and obtained tenure in education. And only 58 passed with a perfect score of 10.

The written test is an integral part of the exam, and the grade obtained accounts for 70% in the final average calculation (which must be at least eight to ensure passing). The papers were evaluated digitally.

In this session, the written test was taken in 99 subjects by 8,072 candidates (94.59% of the 8,534 candidates eligible to participate) in 42 exam centers.

Out of the 8,072 candidates present, 228 candidates withdrew, five candidates were disqualified (for fraud or irregularities during the written test in violation of the methodology provisions), and for three candidates, their papers were canceled during the evaluation period for not complying with the methodological provisions regarding their drafting, as informed by the Ministry of Education.

  • 344 candidates received grades below 5 (slightly lower compared to last year - 394)
  • 5,154 candidates scored between 7.50 and 10
  • 457 candidates received grades between 9.50 and 9.99
  • 65 candidates were graded with a perfect score of 10

To be declared as passing, a candidate must achieve an average of at least 8, calculated as a weighted average of the grades in all exam sections, including the written test. The passing teachers gain the right to practice in pre-university education.

Based on the initial results, 5,687 teachers (72.58%) passed and obtained tenure in education.

According to the approved schedule, appeals are to be submitted at the exam centers today, July 30 (until 8:00 PM) and on Wednesday, July 31 (until 12:00 PM).
