The Scottish press suggests a transfer of five million euros between FCSB and Rangers, following the direct match in the Europa League.
Rangers and FCSB meet in the third round of the Europa League group stage, an opportunity that Scottish journalists have brought up the interest of the team from Ibrox Park in Darius Olaru (26 years old), the captain of the „red and blues.”
The Scots claim that Rangers' midfield needs reinforcements and that Olaru could be exactly what is missing on the field for the team coached by Philippe Clement.
The five million euros release clause in Olaru's contract with FCSB should not be a problem for the Rangers' executives.
"Olaru's release clause should make the Rangers' executives interested in the transfer once again. Revealed by Becali, his five million release clause represents a similar amount to what was paid for (n.r. Mohamed) Diomande. (…) Olaru's name should reappear on Rangers' shopping list as the midfield needs reinforcements," writes Rangers News.
Darius Olaru has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 18 matches (1307 minutes) played in all competitions this season for FCSB.
