Ionuț Radu (28 years old), the goalkeeper of the Romanian national team, was the starting player and played the full match in the game Celta Vigo – Atletico Madrid 1-1.
Celta managed to secure a point against Atletico Madrid, who was coming off a victory against city rival Real Madrid in the derby. However, the team from Vigo remains the only team without a victory in the current La Liga season.
For his performance in the match against Atletico Madrid, Ionuț Radu received a rating of 6.4 from Flashscore, but his goalkeeping skills did not go unnoticed by the Spanish press.
The Spaniards praise Radu for his improvement in performances and the security he provides to the team since he started guarding Celta Vigo's goal.

He is valued at 3.5 million euros by Transfermarkt.
