Real Madrid announced on Monday the transfer of Kylian Mbappe (25 years old), the French superstar who has finished his contract with PSG.
In a statement posted on social media, Real Madrid officially confirmed on Monday, June 3, the transfer of Kylian Mbappe, who arrives for free at the „Santiago Bernabeu.”
"Official statement! Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe have reached an agreement, and the Frenchman will be a player for Real Madrid in the next five seasons," the Spanish club announced.
The "soap opera" of Kylian Mbappe - Real Madrid has thus come to an end, after several failed attempts by the Madrid team to transfer the French player.
According to Le Parisien, Mbappe is set to wear the number 9 at Real Madrid, and from the 2025/2026 season, he will switch to number 10 after Luka Modric's departure. The Croatian will remain one more season in Madrid, then retire.
The Frenchman Mbappe scored 44 goals and provided 10 assists in 48 matches played in all competitions last season, wearing the PSG jersey.
He is valued at 180 million euros by Transfermarkt.
