Radu Drăgușin is starting to lose patience at Tottenham, after being a substitute for the fifth consecutive match.
Drăgușin hasn’t played for Tottenham for over a month, and his agent announces that the player will consider leaving if the situation doesn’t change.
The central defender has only played 6 matches since joining Tottenham, but only two as a starter.
"If he doesn't play, we will have to think about solutions, but for now, I don't think so, because he only arrived in January. However, in life, you never know, let's hope not, but you never know. I think Drăgușin would have gone to Napoli (note: if the offer from Tottenham hadn't come), but Bayern Munich was also in the race. He felt very good at Genoa and wanted to go outside Italy. If Bayern and Tottenham were not interested in him, he would have chosen Napoli," said Florin Manea, according to Sport.ro.
Radu Drăgușin is valued at 25 million euros and is the most expensive football player in Romania's history.
He could move to Napoli starting this summer, according to his agent.
"Conte is one of the best coaches in the world, it would be an honor for Drăgușin to work with him, but for now, it's difficult to say what will happen. Then, if there is a loan offer from Napoli, with Antonio Conte as coach, we will have to consider it. When you work with someone like Antonio Conte, you learn a lot of things. If Postecoglou tells Drăgușin at the end of the season that he will continue to be a substitute, I don't think he will stay there without playing," Florin Manea said clearly.
