FCSB has announced that they will make seven transfers during the competition break to strengthen their team for their participation in the Champions League.
The red and blues have stated that they will bring in at least 7 players in the hope of having two equally strong teams.
"We need to bring in seven, eight players. There's no other way, you can't cope. I mentioned the Champions League. If not, then Europe. And to handle two competitions, you need to have backup for every position," said Gigi Becali on ProSport Live.
FCSB has several ambitious targets in the transfer market, but many of them are impossible to reach.
Alexandru Mitrita and Philip Otele have the lowest chances of joining FCSB due to the price and the fact that the players do not want to play for this team.
Louis Munteanu could join FCSB if the red and blues pay at least 1.5 million euros to Fiorentina.
Denis Alibec is looking for a team abroad and sees FCSB as a last option. On the other hand, defender Mihai Popescu could join FCSB.
The red and blues are also looking for a striker in Portugal.
