The beginning of Georgescu's downfall

The beginning of Georgescu's downfall

Covered by the news of former President Iohannis’s withdrawal, the lamentable failure of boycotting hypermarkets and supermarkets is symptomatic of the limit reached by Călin Georgescu’s delirium, a limit from which he can only descend, especially since his attempts to up the ante are also lamentable failures.

Romanians were urged to go to local markets and small stores to buy Romanian goods and leave the large ones completely empty. Although public data showed that retailers report very high profits, on which they pay taxes, collect VAT, and create jobs.

And most of the goods in large stores are either produced or processed in Romania. The boycott was deactivated, as a simple visit to the store on Monday showed, and then sales data revealed the irreconcilable impact between people's direct interests and the direction in which Călin Georgescu wanted to push them.

For the first time, the skillfully constructed manipulation and gross stimulation of negative emotions collided with real life. Where people buy what they want from where they want and wish to remain so. Free market competition sets the price pressure.

Călin Georgescu represents the option of anger, frustration, and revenge, but not the rational choice of many people. When the two conflict in everyday life, the cardboard candidate loses.

And this should give them pause for thought. This time he urged them towards something absurd, conflicting with their desires and way of life. But if he has the power, will he not try to force them? Will he not end up deteriorating their way of life, even against their will, for example, by damaging relationships with the EU? Because that is what he can do by virtue of his prerogatives.

It was precisely this toxicity of Călin Georgescu that was evident in the boycott issue. The intention to push Romanians in a dangerous direction they do not desire, but may implicitly validate by voting strictly out of anger provoked by the current political class.

The hypocrisy of Georgescu's propaganda is becoming increasingly evident. Even on the day of the boycott, when the Dacian patriot and his wife went to the market dressed in expensive German clothes, in a French car, with a driver and bodyguards.

More and More Ridiculous

The lie is starting to unravel, leading to even more ridiculous falsehoods being pushed through by force. Like the news that a commercial arbitral tribunal in Canada would compel the Romanian state to redo the second round, information promoted on the people's manipulation television by Mr. Georgescu's lawyer. It was so far-fetched that later in the evening even the country's first Dacian and Anca Alexandrescu admitted that it wasn't true, that it was just an interpretation.

What remains to be admitted is that not a single prosecutor from the International Criminal Court has set foot in Romania or will do so to investigate the elections, as the ICC deals only with genocide and war crimes. Moreover, the subject was dropped from the people's manipulation television.

That the representatives of the Venice Commission are in Romania for the issue of merging the elections on June 9, 2024, not for investigating the annulment of the second round, as the official statement on the Commission's website shows.

That the ECHR has not stated anywhere that a coup d'état occurred in Romania. That the Trump team has not issued any message, word, or letter in favor of Călin Georgescu.

J.D. Vance's statement in Munich was not about Mr. Georgescu, did not call for a redo of the second round, and I would say that, analyzed without manipulation, it does not favor him, as the American vice president acknowledges Russia's unacceptable involvement in European elections:

"You might think it's wrong for Russia to buy social media ads to influence your elections, we certainly do, you can condemn it on the world stage. But if democracy can be undermined with a few hundred thousand dollars paid for digital ads by a foreign country, then it wasn't very strong to begin with." Meaning that Russia attacked, and Romania's democratic institutions proved to be weak, says Vance, which is correct.

But he uses the effects of this intervention, underestimated at just a few hundred thousand euros, in the political war that Donald Trump declared on Europe, as a primitive cowboy with the belief that he must be the "boss of the world."

Why the Desperation for a Redo of the Second Round?

Because the lie unravels every day. Because hysteria cannot last indefinitely. It tires and is tiresome. Because more and more information is emerging about Georgescu's swamp.

The "zero lei" campaign turns out to be a major fraud with undeclared donations, the candidate gets annoyed when asked if he was an undercover officer for any intelligence service, he will probably have a fit when asked how he lived in Vienna for 10 years without a stable job in the family.

Furthermore, in the demolition frenzy, the extremists have caused themselves a potentially lethal problem. Klaus Iohannis's resignation, a momentary victory, not only left them without an easy and effective campaign theme for the rest of the campaign but brought to Cotroceni the only politician they truly fear - Ilie Bolojan.

Bolojan's Desperation

That's why a hysterical campaign based on such absurd lies has been launched against him that you have to be completely retarded not to at least question them.

Bolojan is accused, without any minimal evidence, of stealing a truck while working as a truck driver, that is, during a period when, in fact, he was a student at the Faculty of Mathematics, then at the Polytechnic, then a professor.

The Dacian legend of the stolen truck not only does not indicate a specific year of the alleged act but has two versions. That Ilie Bolojan went to prison, it is not known where and in what period, as there are no gaps in his CV. Or that he is still wanted by Interpol, from which, obviously, he is hiding extremely efficiently either in the Victoria Palace, Oradea City Hall, or now in Cotroceni Palace. Logical, right?

And what happened to the truck? But wait a minute!, who steals a truck today, tomorrow could steal the Dacian treasure. If in the tranquility of Cotroceni, Mr. Bolojan walks around with a helmet on his head? Now they are looking for him at the crosses, if they are sufficiently orthodox.

Anca Alexandrescu even suggests that he might be mentally ill, that kind of slander for fools who don't need evidence, dare not think for themselves, and only want to feed on nonsense, much juicier than evidence.

Those who believe, with a map in hand, that Bolivia is a seaport or that Romania possesses substances not found in Mendeleev's periodic table cannot likely be redeemed. But there are also many rational people who opted for Georgescu, blinded by anger, but beginning to see the monstrosity.

The extremists have a demented fear of Ilie Bolojan. Not necessarily because he may run (I said that option seems a bit unbelievable, and I will return to the subject in detail in the coming days), but because a good, serious performance, touching on some key points, can defuse some of the neurosis on which the TikTok Messiah relies.

It's more like Tic-tac, when it's not downright nino-nino!
