According to the indictment, between November 2019 and February 28, 2020, Pintea, as the manager of the Baia Mare County Emergency Hospital, allegedly demanded and received, through an intermediary, from representatives of a commercial company, in two installments, the amounts of 10,000 euros (on December 20, 2019) and 120,000 lei (on February 28, 2020), which she was not entitled to.

The money represented 7% of the value of a public procurement contract, which involved "designing and executing works for the arrangement of the operating block-cardiovascular and thoracic surgery room and adjacent spaces of the Emergency County Hospital 'Dr. Constantin Opriş' in Baia Mare," signed in 2019 between the hospital and the respective company.
