We are testing a modern method of disinfection against mosquito larvae on the shores of the lakes in Bucharest.
Disinfection with drones involves identifying the mosquito breeding areas, programming flight routes, equipping drones with insecticide solutions and biological agents.
Subsequently, the treatment is sprayed uniformly over the target areas.
Drones reach hard-to-reach or extensive areas, and the airflow generated by the propeller allows the solutions to be spread 360 degrees, thus increasing the efficiency of the treatments," writes on Facebook Nicușor Dan, who also posted the video demonstration.
