Departed freely from Ibrox Park, Ianis could be in for a sensational return to the Scottish club.
The Scottish press announces that representatives of Hagi Jr. have contacted Rangers in search of a contract.
"Rangers could re-sign the midfielder who left freely in what could be a shock return," British journalists headline.
Ianis's agents knocked on Rangers' door: "They inquired about the possibility of receiving a new contract, with lower financial demands," the cited source notes.
Now, the Romanian international is awaiting a response from the club's management.
Ianis Hagi played for Rangers between 2020 and 2025.
