The Scottish press is calling for the „unleashing” of a young footballer who could replace Ianis Hagi (25 years old) in the Rangers team.
The club at Ibrox Park has a „gem” in the squad, about whom Scottish journalists claim „should take Ianis Hagi’s place.” To take advantage of the Romanian’s absence, caused by the red card received in the match against St. Johnstone, and to permanently win the favor of coach Philippe Clement.
This concerns Zak Lovelace (18 years old), an offensive player who can play in all attacking positions.
"Clement could move on from Hagi by 'unleashing' a young talent from Rangers," reads the headline on the website footballfancast.com.
"Philippe Clement could already move on from Ianis Hagi by 'unleashing' an academy star, Zak Lovelace, to take his place. He should take Ianis Hagi's place, following the red card received in the last match played.
It all depends on Clement for the integration of the young footballer into the dynamics of the first team, as he could permanently forget about Ianis Hagi if Lovelace steps up and performs well, just like he did for Rangers' reserve team," the quoted source further writes.
Zak Lovelace is valued at 500,000 euros by Transfermarkt.
