Alaves coach changed his mind regarding Ianis Hagi, after not counting on him in the last few matches.
Luis Garcia expressed his delight at how Ianis has prepared and announced that he will give him more chances in the upcoming matches.
"There are people who have helped us a lot from the shadows. Hagi, for example, had an incredible attitude, the kid hasn't played for a long time, but he trains with joy, with eagerness. Some players will participate more in this final stretch of the season. Not all the same, because it's impossible, I want to involve them," said Luis Garcia.
For the fifth consecutive match, Ianis Hagi was left on the bench by the Alaves coach and remained an unused substitute.
Alaves won the match against Valencia 1-0, but Ianis Hagi did not get any playing time.
In fact, he has not played for Alaves since March, when he got 33 minutes in the defeat against Bilbao.
The last time Ianis was an unused substitute in 5 consecutive matches was in 2017. Back then, Ianis was just a teenager registered with Fiorentina, a club that did not count on him.
Starting this summer, Ianis will return to Rangers, but it is uncertain if he will be retained here.
