Piedone or Nicușor Dan? Huge score differences between two polls for the Capital City Hall, published on the same day

Two opinion polls related to the local elections in Bucharest appeared in the media on Monday, showing contradictory results.

The first one was a Sociopol survey, presented by Mediafax, where Nicușor Dan would win if there were elections this Sunday. Later in the evening, Digi24 released another survey, conducted by Avangarde, where Cristian Popescu Piedone leads by a significant margin.

In both surveys, the PSD-PNL candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, Dr. Cătălin Cîrstoiu, would come in third place... but the margin is different by no less than 10%.
