A TAROM flight from Bucharest to Iași, round trip, was canceled Monday morning due to the lack of an available aircraft.
Among the passengers who were supposed to depart from Iași to Bucharest was the artist Horia Brenciu.
The scheduled flight to arrive in Iași at 08:50 was canceled, so the return flight that was supposed to depart at 09:15 from Iași to the capital did not take off.
According to the management of Iași Airport, TAROM explained that there was a lack of an aircraft to operate this flight.
Among the passengers waiting at Iași Airport was the artist Horia Brenciu, who held a concert in the city on Sunday evening.
"The TAROM flight from Iași, this morning, was canceled. After traveling the country far and wide, literally, and getting ready to go back home, there couldn't have been a more "wonderful" news than this. All plans for today have evaporated...

In recent days, several TAROM flights from Iași to Bucharest have been delayed.
On Friday evening, the Iași-Bucharest flight, which the Politehnica Iași team took for the Saturday match against FCSB, departed from Iași Airport with a delay of over three hours. The footballers arrived in Bucharest after midnight.
In some situations, the state-owned airline canceled flights, while others were operated with significant delays.
BoardingPass reports that, on the night between August 18 and 19, 2024, TAROM combined the flights Bucharest - Timișoara and Timișoara - Bucharest with the flights Bucharest - Baia Mare and Baia Mare - Bucharest.
Thus, the Boeing 737-800NG registered as YR-BGK will fly on August 18 and 19, 2024, on the route Bucharest - Baia Mare - Timișoara - Baia Mare - Bucharest.
Out of the fleet of 18 aircraft operated by TAROM, only 12 are active (four out of six ATR 72 aircraft, one out of four Airbus A318s, three out of four Boeing 737-700NGs, and four out of four Boeing 737-800NGs).
