One person died in a strong fire that engulfed a house in Bucharest.
Firefighters are intervening on Tuesday in a fire that occurred in Sector 2 of the Romanian capital city.
A dwelling is burning, but the flames have also spread to the roof of the adjacent one.
"We are intervening to extinguish a fire that occurred in a dwelling located on Culea Nicolae Street in Sector 2. The fire is accompanied by significant smoke emissions in a ground floor dwelling and on the roof of the second one, covering an area of approximately 150 square meters," announced the emergency service.

One deceased victim was extracted from the house.
The fire has been localized, but firefighters are working to eliminate the remaining hotspots.
