A 31-year-old woman died on Monday after falling from the 11th floor of a building in Bucharest, and the police are trying to determine what happened.
„On April 8, 2024, police officers from the General Police Directorate of Bucharest Municipality – Police Section 22 were notified through the emergency system that a person had fallen from a building,” the Capital Police reported.
Police officers and a first aid team were dispatched to the scene, where they confirmed the woman's death.
"The investigation was taken over by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Tribunal and the Homicide Department, in order to establish the facts and circumstances of the event," added the Capital Police.
Furthermore, the deceased body was transported to the National Institute of Legal Medicine for a post-mortem examination.
Judicial sources informed News.ro that the victim was a woman born in Iran who fell from the 11th floor of a building on Timişoara Boulevard, in the 6th district of Bucharest.
