An incident occurred on Thursday on the Transfăgărășan highway in Romania, where a tourist, holding a child, ignored all safety rules to take a picture with a bear.
The event took place during an operation to relocate the bear.
The team responsible for relocating bears on the Transfăgărășan tried to remove a man who had stepped out of a car at a short distance from the bear that was about to enter the trap.
It was dangerous, especially since the man was holding a child.
Forestry inspectors faced refusal from the person they were trying to convince not to endanger themselves.
"Forestry engineers reacted commendably, trying to act in such a way that no one would be in danger. Neither people nor the animal! I reiterate the public appeal: stopping to photograph or film bears, as well as feeding animals, is prohibited by law," a local official stated.
