Two people have died in a pool in Brașov County, Romania, and investigators are trying to establish exactly what happened.
The tragedy occurred in Racoș, and the victims are two men aged around 20 and 40 who lost their lives after being electrocuted in a pool, as reported by the local press.
Even though medical teams arrived quickly at the scene, they couldn’t do anything to save the two.
„Last night, around 00:00, the firefighters from Brașov were requested, through a call to the emergency number 112, to provide first aid to two electrocuted persons.
Two SMURD crews, one with a doctor, and two crews from the County Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
Resuscitation maneuvers were performed on the two victims according to the protocol, unfortunately, they did not respond, and their deaths were declared,” stated the Brașov Emergency Situations Inspectorate.
It is worth mentioning that a month ago, a family consisting of three individuals, a 42-year-old son and his parents, who lived in Colonia Sopor, Cluj County, was found dead near the inflatable pool in their yard. The victims also died from electrocution.
