The Danish police arrested the 21-year-old Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg on Wednesday in Copenhagen at a demonstration in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
She blocked access to the University of Copenhagen, according to the Ekstra Bladet newspaper.
Greta Thunberg was participating in the demonstration with a group of students demanding the institution to end its collaborations with Israeli universities.
Several members of the group were also arrested, according to the Danish publication.

The activist is regularly arrested by law enforcement for illegal blockades, but is rarely convicted.
The British justice system dropped the case against the activist after a hotel blockade.
